Principals

Shakya Harish
Mr. Harish is responsible for implementing Napean Capital’s investment strategy across hotels, multifamily, senior living, and public and private equities.
Mr. Harish has a broad financial services background, having started his career at Morgan Stanley’s Investment Banking Division, where he received a top-tier analyst ranking. Following Morgan Stanley, Mr. Harish joined SAC Capital (now Point72), a New York based hedge fund, where he invested in tech, media, and telecom public equities. After spending five years at SAC, Mr. Harish formed Honeygo Capital where he continued to invest in TMT public equities.
Mr. Harish graduated from New York University with a degree in finance and accounting.

Surendra Jain
Prior to forming Napean Capital, Dr. Surendra Jain was a founding partner and Chief Medical Officer of AppleCare Medical Management, a multi-specialty medical group formed in 1996. Under Dr. Jain’s leadership, AppleCare grew to include over 700 physicians and developed expertise in delivering improved health outcomes at lower cost. AppleCare was ultimately acquired by UnitedHealth’s Optum Group.
Dr. Jain is a graduate of The University of Bombay and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. He holds a Fellowship in Hepatology from the University of Miami and a Fellowship in Gastroenterology, completed at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA.
Dr. Jain currently serves as a Board Member of Children’s Bureau and has previously served as a Board Member of the Metropolitan YMCA, Board Member of the California Association of Physician Groups, and Chairman of the Department of Medicine at St. Francis Medical Center.

Ashley Jain Patel
Ms. Patel is responsible for the residential development activities of Napean Capital with significant experience in entitlement, architectural design, and construction of luxury single family homes and multi-unit residential communities.
As a graduate of University of San Diego School of Law, Ms. Patel also helps to advise on Napean’s legal structuring and contract negotiations.
Additionally, Ms. Patel co-manages Napean’s foundation, which supports non-profit organizations including El Camino College, Orthopedic Institute for Children, Children’s Bureau, Torrance Memorial Hospital, and several other entities.

Sheena Harish
Ms. Harish oversees the accounting activities of Napean’s real estate entities including operating assets and assets still under construction. Ms. Harish also assists with Napean’s property management efforts.
Additionally, Ms. Harish co-manages Napean’s foundation, which supports non-profit organizations including El Camino College, Orthopedic Institute for Children, Children’s Bureau, Torrance Memorial Hospital, and several other entities.
She received her MBA from University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business.
